VINASIL ME is stable to hard water and acids in
normal industrial concentrations.
Remaining alkali quantities as well as pH-value
fluctuations of the plant water impair the liquor stability.
We recommend to carry out compatibility trials before
mixing various products.
The product is very sensitive to frost; temperatures
around the freezing point cause irreversible changes.
VINASIL ME is sensitive to temperatures above 40oC.
DILUTION
VINASIL ME can be diluted with cold water to any ratio; when dealing with
alkaline plant water (permutit water) we recommend to adjust the
pH-value to 5 – 5.5 before adding the product.
APPLICATION
VINASIL ME is a textile softener for padding mangle application with the
following properties:
Soft core, naturally flowing touch through.
Best penetration of the active substances,
Improvement of the sewability,
Improvement of the tearing and abrasion resistance within the
scope of resin finishing,
Improvement of the wash and wear properties of easy-care finished
cellulose textiles,
Positive influence on the elastic recovery of knitwear,
Good washing permanence,
Non-yellowing to a large extent under normal drying and
fixation conditions.
VINASIL ME is excellently suitable for finishing wovens and knits
of cellulose fibres, wool and synthetic fibres as well as their blends.
The product is normally applied at room temperature on the padding mangle.
RECIPE PROPOSALS
The application amounts depend on the existing material and the
desired effects.
Padding mangle procedure:
10.0 – 40.0 g/l VINASIL ME
pH approx. 5.0
Liquor pickup: 70 – 80%
