VINASIL HP CONC is a hydrophilic silicone softener which imparts a durable handle without impairing the water absorbency of treated textiles unlike traditional amino functional silicone softeners. The product is especially recommended for application to cotton towel where it will produce a soft, non-yellowing, durable handle without affecting the rewetting properties of the material. VINASIL HP CONC is also suitable for other natural and blended woven and knitted fabrics such as 100% knitted cotton and 65/35 polyester/cotton blends etc.

APPLICATION
VINASIL HP CONC can be applied by either Padding or Exhaustion processes. Application quantities will vary depending on the substrate characteristics and the handle required. General guidelines are as follows:
Exhaust Application: Apply 0.2.0% to 4.0% VINASIL HP CONC on weight of goods Set the bath pH at 5.0. Run for 30 – 40 minutes at 40 – 45C. It is recommended that the softening operation is carried out in a fresh rinse bath following dyeing at the lowest practical liquor to material ratio. VINASIL HP CONC can be used to revive readymade garments by treating with. 02% – 3.0% on weight of goods using a 10:1 liquor ratio at 40◦C for 20 minutes at pH 5.0. The fabric is then hydro extracted and tumbles dried.
Pad Application: For pad application the VINASIL HP CONC is pre-diluted and added to the premix tank as required. Apply 1 – 30 gm/litre for continuous padding processes at 100% pick-up, and then dry to cure the finish.
