Paraffin emulsion containing synthetic material blends
Low-viscous emulsion, pale beige
5 ± 6
Non-Ionic
VINALUBE PBA is stable to hard water hardness and organic acids. The product is sensitive to electrolytes like sodium hydroxide, sodium chloride and sodium sulphate. Therefore the application bath should be prevented from such electrolytes to achieve optimum performance
DILUTION
VINALUBE PBA can be diluted with warm water.
APPLICATION
The product should always be applied in a fresh bath after bleaching or dyeing of the yarns.
VINALUBE BA advantages
There is no need for a rewinding process like in the case of solid paraffin treatment, if so-called direct bobbins are used. This makes it possible to deliver the bobbins directly to the knitter or weaver. In case of a rewinding process, it can be carried out at high speed and there is definitely less yarn breakage confers gliding properties to yarns by lowering the co-efficient of friction which results in minimum yarn breakage during knitting or weaving. Exhausts evenly and completely on the substrate it imparts antistatic properties to syntheti yarn minimal effect on the degree of whiteness when applied on bleached yarns. VINALUBE PBA has a negligible volatility at higher temperatures and will not cause any problems during drying under normal conditions. VINALUBE PBA imparts a soft fleecy handle to the yarns and sewability of the fabric made out of yarn treated with this product is also considerably improved. VINALUBE PBA is specially suited to lubricate cotton and PAN yarns but it can also be successfully applied ofother fibres.
RECIPE PROPOSALS
1.0 – 3.0 % VINALUBE PBA (on weight of material) pH 5.5 – 6.0 with acetic acid begin at 30°C and run for 10 min. at this temperature and then heat up to 55°C @ 1°C / minute treat at 55°C for 10 mins., drain the liquor. A good alternate liquor circulation favours an even coating (e.g. 4 mins. Outsideinside, 2 mins. Inside-outside) In case VINALUBE PBA has to be washed out, the following recipe should be applied. 1.0 g/l VINALPOL GRN 2.0 g/l Soda ash 20 mins. at 95 –98°C
