VINAFIX LFC is water-soluble

VINAFIX LFC is well compatible with all pigment
printing pastes. In acid medium and if exposed to
higher temperatures, premature cross-linking occurs.

In a cool and dry place but not below +5 °C, in well
closed original containers. We recommend not to
exceed a storage time of 6 months. Opened containers must be closed again tightly.

APPLICATION

VINAFIX LFC is a polyfunctional cross-linking agent, it improves distinctly the
fastness level of pigment prints, particularly of textiles made of synthetic fibres
or their blends with natural fibres.
VINAFIX LFC is applied in both all-aqueous and solvent containing pigment
printing, but also in so-called ready-made pastes. It is best added to the pastes
shortly before printing. The print pastes containing VINAFIX LFC have a limited
storability, it may be improved by adjusting the pastes slightly alkaline with
ammonia and storing in a cool place.
The average application amount is 5 – 8 g/kg print paste. For textiles with higher
synthetic part or materials which are difficult to print, a higher amount of 10 –
12 g/kg or for special effects with ready-made pastes even 50 – 60 g/kg may
be required. The effect of VINAFIX LFC may be enhanced further if an addition
of an acid donor is made to the paste.
Optimum fixation results are achieved at 150oC for 4 – 5 min.
