Vinafix FB Conc
VINAFIX FB is a formaldehyde base fixing agent for both direct and reactive dyes on cellulose materials and cellulose blends with other fibres. The product will produce a marked improvement in fastness to Washing, Perspiration and Wet Contact Staining.

APPLICATION
VINAFIX FB can be applied by padding or exhaust methods and the quantity required will vary with the depth of shade and the cellulosic content of the material.
As a general guide the following amounts are recommended:-
Pale Shades 0.2 – 0.6% on weight of goods
Medium Shades 0.6 – 1.0% on weight of goods
Dark Shades 1.0 – 1.5% on weight of goods
Washing Off Reactive Dyes
Before application of VINAFIX FB, the fabric must always be soaped off with either : 1 gm/litre VINAPERSE DSW at 100°C for 30 minutes Each time followed by a cold rinse
Additional benefits include
Minimal effect upon dye shade and light fastness.
Substantive to cellulose fibres thus can be applied by either exhaust or padding processes.
Readily miscible with water in all proportions.
Compatible with non-ionic and cationic products.
Can be utilised in admixture with all finishing resins of the type normally used on cellulose materials.
